Oh come on, not the billionaires again…
Hell yes! I want to bring this topic back up because I realize I didn't quite hit the mark with the previous post. Partly because of French political considerations that have absolutely nothing to do with what I was saying. As a result—and maybe my fault—a lot of the comments I received were off-topic.
So, please, leave your partisan reflexes aside, understand that it's not about a right/left or young/old subject, not about a country or continent issue, but about a new form of "class fight" between a few thousand people, on track to appropriate everything that exists on this planet, and the 7 or 8 billion of the rest of humanity, including you, me and all the others. It is not a struggle of good against evil, it is just the obligation to stop a mechanic without soul, without purpose, without passions that has been engaged and advances inexorably, blind, deaf and insensitive.
I know, I sound a little grandiose, but it’s already begun; it’s underway, and it’s going to impact—and turn upside down—everything that matters to us: our well-being, our possessions and those of our children, their future, our political systems, our way of life, our planet, its wildlife, its flora, the water, and the air we breathe. That is, unless… we do something. Unless we decide to ask the wealthiest to contribute fairly to society. To pay their fair share.
I was planning to write another full post on the subject, but then I came across this video from the channel “Partager C’est Sympa,” which covers all these aspects and provides a comprehensive overview of the issue. So, set aside your preconceptions, stop believing that billionaires are like you, think like you, or live like you, and watch it all the way through as it explores every facet of the problem. How ultra-rich people, widespread impoverishment, resources confiscation, immigration, the shift to the right, the far right, fascism, war, and the destruction of life are all interconnected variables or outcomes of the same system—one that you can no longer reasonably support, unless you’re suicidal or part of the cult of billionaire-worshipping bottom-lickers.
It's definitely worth the few minutes you'll spend watching it—trust me (subtitles are available in several languages, including English, for those who don't speak French).

Anyone who has watched the Gary’s Economics video on the previous post will find many similar conclusions there. One is English and comes from the world of finance (Gary); the other is French and was initially more concerned with environmental issues (Vincent); yet, after careful considered thoughts, they reach the same conclusions.
Finally, a quick word to those “who aren’t into politics”: this is about your life, your children’s lives, the preservation of nature, and even the survival of the human race. This isn’t just politics anymore—or rather, yes, it is! This is real, genuine POLITICS! And we’re going to need to take action—and quickly!
